Prof Lee Strang talks about Supreme Court rulings

Strang_2_600Professor Lee Strang, provided a very detailed insight into two recent Supreme Court rulings,  Gay Marriage and Obamacare.

The packed house paid close attention as Prof Strang lead us through the backgrounds and history of those judges who made these decisions. And he believed they overstepped their constitutional authority in changing the meanings of the laws that were passed rather than interpreting them.

The best 18 minutes of my life just happened on the US Senate floor

Cruz_SenateFloorTHANK YOU   THANK YOU   THANK YOU.

Many of us have been fighting on the grass roots front for years.  The most frustrating of those times is when we work our butts off to get someone elected because they say their going to fight.   After we get them elected,  they not only DON'T fight,  but they actually sign on and help with the progressive / liberal movement to the left.

After a few days of putting up with some of Ohios Establishment Republicans whining and crying as to why I spend all my time working against their republicans instead of fighting Democrats,   I had formulated my thoughts into nice expressible words: Continue reading

Ohio Conservatives United launches similar program in Florida

Conservative groups across Florida band together to launch Florida Conservatives United

TAVARES, FL/TOLEDO, OH - July 23, 2015 - Florida's Conservative, 912, Liberty, and Tea Party groups and their members now have a method of talking to each other about candidates and unity in the March 15, 2016, “Winner Take All” Florida Presidential Primary. PREFACE - Having read the entire 47 pages, I found this brief clear and concise.  Every word and every sentence was important and had meaning (I wish I could write like this).  This made it very difficult to pull out specific language or sentences to highlight points.  I encourage everyone to download, print, and read this document.

This courts decision will forever taint the integrity of the Supreme Court. It should serve to emphasize the importance of how these judges get their job, and  the vetting and approval process they are subjected to. These 9 people are appointed to this office for the rest of their lives. Continue reading

Portman says YES to giving up the power that we elected him to uphold.

FastTrack

Sen Rob Portman voted YES moves the FAST TRACK bill one step closer to allowing President Obama to authorize ALL trade agreement treaties.

We are very disappointed in Sen Portman's stand on this,  We view that Sen Portman gave up the very power that we elected him to uphold by giving negotiating authority to the President for several years — not just President Obama and not just for the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement.  When Sen Rob Portman voted YES on this bill he fails to perform THE Constitutional role of the Congress — to act as a Check and Balance on the Executive Branch. April 30, 2015

Mayhem, race riots, lies, and Al Sharpton. Look at Baltimore and we've seen it all before!

The problem: Big Government. Yet, we keep talking about what we're going to do about it, but where are the conservative, small-government policies that end the conditions that create these riots?

Consequence for Republican Betrayal Far Exceed Consequences of any DHS “Shutdown”

McConnellMogadore, Ohio - The Portage County TEA Party Executive Director, Tom Zawistowski, made clear today that the consequences for the Republican betrayal in the Senate will far exceed the consequences of any DHS "Shutdown".

Zawistowski explained, "Senator McConnell and his ilk in the Senate need to clearly understand that the betrayal of all of their campaign promises, the betrayal of the very Oath of Office he himself swore just weeks ago to defend the Constitution, and the betrayal of the base of the Republican Party by allowing 5.5 million illegal non-citizens to acquire social security numbers and drivers licenses so that they can vote Democrat in coming elections, will result in the loss of the Senate and the White House in 2016.
